Kairos, collective for small-scale midwifery.
Kairos means the mythical being "time" in Ancient Greek. However, not clock-time in hours but: the right moment in a human life and perception of time.
Kairos in your pregnancy
Although it may not always feel like it, the things you encounter in pregnancy are timely. By dwelling on the changes together during pregnancy, you will learn about yourself and feel confident in parenthood later on.
Kairos during your delivery
We do not guide a birth with a stopwatch but we stand beside you with confidence. With our experience and knowledge, we wait for the right moment to do or not do something.
Kairos as midwife
This is the moment we want to follow our passion, to shape midwifery in such a way that each woman's unique strength may be magnified and thus we continue the right for our and your daughters to give birth autonomously.
Kairos location
Every Friday, we have consultation hours on Meeuwenlaan at Healing People in Amsterdam North. At Kairos, we work throughout Amsterdam. The pregnancy check-ups with coaching mostly take place at your home and occasionally on Fridays at the Meeuwenlaan in Amsterdam-Noord.
